{"id":4387,"date":"2019-09-26T16:40:53","date_gmt":"2019-09-26T15:40:53","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.gli-network.net\/?page_id=4387"},"modified":"2020-02-13T10:45:05","modified_gmt":"2020-02-13T10:45:05","slug":"international-autumn-school-france-2019","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/www.gli-network.net\/?page_id=4387","title":{"rendered":"International Autumn School, France 2019"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size\"> With the support of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.projet-react.org\/fr\/\">ReAct <\/a>and the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.fph.ch\/index_en.html\">Foundation for Human Progress<\/a>, on October 7,8 and 9 2019, the Global Labor Institute Paris held its second<strong> International Inter-Trade Union<\/strong> <strong>School at Bergerie de Villarceaux, near Paris.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size\">100 activists from the trade union, research and association sectors from 18 countries gathered together to think about the links between trade union movements and other civil society movements. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p> <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Participants shared experiences of alliances that have helped to \nstrengthen feminist demands in union organisation, discussed the need to\n fight against the rise of the far right in the workplace, and the \nimportance of organising for the climate cause.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Discussions also focused on how to organise the unorganised,  including those who work in sectors far from union organisation \u2013 such  as the informal sector.
