It also highlights working \npapers developed by TUED, and international conferences and events held \nand supported by TUED.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Organisational Highlights<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>The<a href=\"https:\/\/unionsforenergydemocracy.us4.list-manage.com\/track\/click?u=f221f934e081bc32b8fcd79e2&amp;id=d26ac52d52&amp;e=1ba0e247ae\"> TUED network<\/a>\n has grown to include 76 participating union bodies representing workers\n in 24 countries, including 4 Global Union Federations, 3 regional \norganizations, and 9 national centers, as well as 11 allied policy, \nacademic and advocacy organizations. Nine union bodies from seven \ndifferent countries, joined TUED during 2019, as well as one new \nmovement ally. These unions represent more than 1.5 million members.<\/li><li>The TUED e-Bulletin now reaches more than 3,000 union staff, \nofficers, activists and allies\u2014an increase of roughly 20% from one year \nearlier. Archived bulletins are<a href=\"https:\/\/unionsforenergydemocracy.us4.list-manage.com\/track\/click?u=f221f934e081bc32b8fcd79e2&amp;id=2e9cd4b3fb&amp;e=1ba0e247ae\"> here<\/a>.<\/li><li>Bi-monthly TUED \u201cGlobal Web Forums\u201d now regularly see participation \nby at least 60 union staff and officers from around the world, and as \nmany as 90.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><em><a href=\"https:\/\/unionsforenergydemocracy.org\/\">Trade Unions for Energy Democracy (TUED)<\/a>&nbsp;is\n a global, multi-sector trade union initiative to advance democratic \ndirection and control of energy in a way that promotes solutions to the \nclimate crisis, energy poverty, the degradation of both land and people,\n and responds to the attacks on workers\u2019 rights and protections.
