{"id":4548,"date":"2020-04-01T09:42:53","date_gmt":"2020-04-01T08:42:53","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.gli-network.net\/?p=4548"},"modified":"2022-11-10T12:10:16","modified_gmt":"2022-11-10T12:10:16","slug":"tued-global-forum-on-union-responses-to-the-covid-19-crisis","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.gli-network.net\/?p=4548","title":{"rendered":"TUED Global Forum on Union Responses to the COVID-19 Crisis"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p> In light of the rapidly evolving COVID-19 global health crisis, <a href=\"https:\/\/gli-manchester.net\/unionsforenergydemocracy.org\/\">Trade Unions for Energy Democracy (TUED) <\/a>will convene a Global Web Forum this Friday, April 3rd, at the following times: <\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>10:00-11:30am New York<\/li><li>3:00-4:30pm London<\/li><li>4:00-5:30pm Paris, Rome, Johannesburg<\/li><li>11:00pm-12:30am, Seoul<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p> The call will hear from healthcare and public service unions from the  USA, Italy, South Africa, India, South Korea, Australia and elsewhere  regarding their responses to the COVID-19 emergency. The goal of the  call is to share ideas and strategies, and to identify opportunities for  further solidarity and support. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If you want to take part, please RSVP on <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/unionsforenergydemocracy.us4.list-manage.com\/track\/click?u=f221f934e081bc32b8fcd79e2&amp;id=2f0a0bf2b0&amp;e=1ba0e247ae\" target=\"_blank\"><strong>this form<\/strong><\/a>.<strong>C<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em><a href=\"https:\/\/unionsforenergydemocracy.org\/\">Trade Unions for Energy Democracy (TUED)<\/a>&nbsp;is\n a global, multi-sector trade union initiative to advance democratic \ndirection and control of energy in a way that promotes solutions to the \nclimate crisis, energy poverty, the degradation of both land and people,\n and responds to the attacks on workers\u2019 rights and protections.
