It highlights EFFAT\u2019s achievements in giving recognition to domestic workers through solid trade union representation and a political commitment at the European level, and looks at future plans to strengthen recognition and representation further.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This booklet was commissioned by the&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/effat.org\/\">European Federation of Food, Agriculture and Tourism Trade Unions (EFFAT).&nbsp;<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.gli-manchester.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/07\/EFFAT-Domestic-Workers-in-Europe-June-2021-PRINT-high-res1.pdf\">Click here to read the booklet.<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator\"\/>\n\n\n\n<p><em><a href=\"https:\/\/gli-manchester.net\/\">GLI Manchester<\/a>\u00a0is a not-for-profit company, working closely with a range of global union federations, national trade unions, research institutions and workers\u2019 education organisations. It conducts education, capacity-building and research on international labour movement development and organising strategies. It specialises in political education, organisation and trade union policy with informal economy workers, and the design and management of international workers\u2019 education programmes.
